Asunto: [ConstellationTalk] Re: Congress on systemic constellations 2009 in
Mexico

The third International Organizational Constellation Training
Intensive (IOCTI III) will take place this year in Mexico, from
October 19-25. After having organized this exiting international
platform for learning and exchange two times in the Netherlands, now
we continue the tradition in Mexico. I handed over this event to a
new generation, personalized by Raúl Enriques and Katia del Rivero.
They are experienced consultants, good organizers and very devoted
to bring systemic work into the field of organizations. .
So I fully support this third edition of IOCTI, and although it is
pretty late, I think this event has a good potential to be wonderful
again. I ask your support to spread word in your country. The
website is www.IOCTI.com. I kindly ask you if you would be willing
to create a link to this site on your homepage and maybe spread word
(or mail) to whoever you think might be interested. Katia and Raúl
are willing to put a link with your website in return, this way
enhancing the international community of organizational
constellators. In a few days time there will also be a PDF file
available, so you can download and print the IOCTI program.
The place they have chosen is a hacienda near Cuernavaca, a
university city, 2 hours from Mexico DF. This area has an own micro
climate (the Mexican nick-name is `Always Spring'). I think this
event is also a good opportunity to get into contact with Mexican
society and culture, in many ways. Not only in the cultural part of
the program, but also in the cases for constellations presented by
the local companies. In the workshops I facilitated last week in
Mexico we encountered issues like: How to start a drug addict
clinic? How to deal with corruption in one of the ministries? In an
other constellation, brought up by a group of HRM-managers of a
bank, we encountered dynamics which have to do with the conquest of
the original indigenous people by the Spanish, coming back in the
1600 employees of a service centre of this bank. An other
constellation was about the family dynamics in an exposed company on
the stock market.
So I think this IOCTI will be also very interesting for people from
many countries in the world, where these kind of societal issues are
closely connected with many organisations. The field of
organizations constellations is more and more connecting to societal
issues, and I do hope IOCTI III will learn us all more about these
dynamics.
And last but not least: What Raúl and Katia offer is, certainly to
European standards, not expensive at all. Partly with thanks to the
cheap dollar.
Warm regards
Jan Jacob Stam
