I agree with everything said so far. However, I think the reason to ask the
question, in part, is because classical constellations so strongly assume
bi-genderism that transexuals often find it hard to find a place in them. For
instance, when we assume only men can represent men, and women can represent
women, is a transexual participant even allowed to participate? Just one small
example of the interesting challenges I run into on a regular basis here in the
California Bay Area. And, I think even the most open-minded person may struggle
with the idea that their transsexualism might be the “result” of an ancestral
entanglement.
Thank you for the resources. My impression, attending trainings around the
world, is that creative thinking about non-gender-binary-ism has not in any way
taken hold in the larger constellation world, and is still only on the margins.
And I know that many transexuals feel unwelcome in the constellation world as a
result. So, I really appreciate the resources (and all of you focusing good
work on the margins) and will track them down!
Peace, Leslie

Victor. Thank you very much for your very helpful post. Although you said so
much more than I did it mirrors my thoughts that it is the issue that’s
important and not the clients gender identification. I think it would be very
helpful to have available what you’ve written. I did significant research on
the issues of gender identity and sexual preference in my dissertation which is
available free from ProSource.

I think that could be a distractor to put in first place the fact that the
client is transexual.
What it desires of the Constellation? What he or she wants?
He or She desires leave the transexual condition? or desider to be
comfortable with it?
Or the person needs to solve a Couple problem? or Is thinking in Coming Out?
I think is very mportant to Know about the transexual condition, but I think
we know that this condtion can be a representation of a person rejected in
the family etc, etc. But ISN´T a pathology (althoug some people can to tell I
am Transexual in crisis situations, but when the situation leaves they return
to the common gender identity and in these cases there is necessary mental
healt attention)
I have worked in the issue of Sexual Diversity by 25 years in Mexico and I
think Constellators could have the respectful and inclussive attitud that
these person requires to be enough sure in order to explore possibilities
and take decissions.
As I See Constellations and constellators work, we don´t need to have the
solution for the consultants, but we can to set the constelation in a
respectfull way in order, they found their solutions.
I think the most important issue in this case is be conscious about our
prejudices and knowledges, to clarify the goal of the person and work in
these item. If you are a expert in support your client although you don¨t be
expert in transgender issues can be a good company.
(Transexual woman It means is a Person Biologically Male with Female Gender
,
or aTransexual man, which was borned a Girl, but now recognizes himself as
a Man?
I did a small information manual about transgender, travestistes and
transexual people, in spanish. If it us useful to you and another colleagues
I can to share it
