To consider the entire workshop – facilitator and all participants -
as one field is a real challenge, I admit. Financial considerations
may only mask the deeper reasons why it is such a common practice in
the wider constellation community to rigidly differentiate between
representatives and clients. In actual fact higher quality healing
should, and I believe will, attract higher remuneration in the longer
run. So if the issue is not really money – what could it be?
To have one level of participation with no guarantee of a participant
getting their own constellation (even if they wish to) is perhaps not
an unreasonable option, yet it does not feel entirely fair. Maybe
longer workshops are more suitable for this process? Just because a
solution is difficult it does not mean that it is not the right
solution.

This is reflected in the different pricing. Because that level has been
devalued people then feel justified in paying the lower price for that.

also have to put up with a period of low enrolments because of the
expectations that have already been set up in your clients. One way to
reduce the intensity of this response is to send out a brief but clear
explanation of the reasons behind the change. Also it would help to make
the charge for attendance somewhere between to current two levels.
I really think this is worth it as it would allow your workshops to flow
with greater integrity where you could really be open to selecting the
person who is truly ready to work rather than having to select someone who
has paid a higher amount to guarantee their own constellation. A nice side
effect is that out of necessity you will become more attentive to group
processes and to the benefits accrued by participants when representing and
when sitting in the holding circle.

participants be Focus Clients, unfortunately it is difficult to get 10-15

participation so that I may actually hold the workshop.
Perhaps once FC work is more clearly recognized in the United States it
will be easier to hold a Focus Client only workshop. One can hope.

wishing to set up a constellation and those that don't. In our trainingday,
with Peter and Jamy Faust it was always modeled that the healing is
communal and interconnected for all the participants, their families and
ancestors. And that healing is possible from observing or being a
representative. The field of healing possibility grows throughout the
and everyone is part of the process whether they are witnessing andown
supporting with their attention, being a representative, or doing their

Re: disconnecting from a role, I think part of what helps in our groups
holding that intention that we are all together on the day's healinggiven

of this meditation we are brought to presence with all our ancestors, and
then the constellations begin. at the end of the day, we return to the
point we were at the end of the morning meditation, reconnect with our
ancestors with new awareness, and then reverse the experience to come out
of the meditation. It creates reverence and grounding for the work, and a
clear demarcation between the experience of the day and life to follow.
Also, at the beginning of each constellation the representatives are
guidance from the facilitator on how to come into the role, and then howto
disconnect at the end of the constellation. We make it clear with a bellmother's
when the constellation is complete, and nothing is to be added to it. We
also suggest the representatives say to themselves who they are not, then
who they are (full name), and then if they need more, to say they are the
son or daughter of father's full name, and then son or daughter of
full name. And if that's not enough we suggest they debrief with one ofthe
facilitators. Grounding, breathing, gentle movement, walking on the earth
are always good as well.
