Dear Chris,
The beauty of online connections is that we feel close to people we have
never met in person!
So I find myself deeply grateful to you, to those who came before you, to
all those who have assisted you in this great initiative.
The devotion you have shown to all of us in these years is a great gift.
I will encourage the new community that is creating in Armenia to
subscribe to Constellation Talk.
I am sure it will be a great gift for them as much as it is for me.
With heartfelt thanks
Chiara

Hi allthought
We have now reached the tenth anniversary of Constellation Talk. I
it was a good opportunity to begin a reflection on where we have comefrom,
how we are doing and where we are going.was
The very first message of this group was posted on February 15 2003,when
the group was started by me for people in Australia and New Zealand. It
a natural place for such a group to start. We here in the south are sofar
away from everyone else in our vast sparsely populated island continentof
Australia with the distant islands of New Zealand. We here are also veryus
long distances away from each other. So this group was designed to help
to overcome this geographical isolation.of
Somehow by the end of April 2003 the group transmogrified into an
international group. Over the years this group has been through a number
distinct phases of development as it has gotten bigger and as we have hadmatured
to navigate our way through various controversies. We seem to have
in a good way through these processes. I have done my best as groupfounder
and moderator to shepherd it through. I have tried to maintain a cultureof
transparency and openness to different viewpoints whilst supportingbeen
respectful communication and severely limiting the use of this group for
the purposes of promotions or advertising. Sometimes some people have
very unhappy with me but generally people seem quite happy and if votingthat
with your feet counts we now have 861 members from all around the globe.
Even with the advent of a number of constellation face book pages and
blogs, this group still remains strong. Nonetheless I don't expect it to
last forever. It will last as long as people find it helpful in a way
works better than other alternatives. When it is meant to finish it will.about
Meanwhile it still seems to be quite vibrant and lively. Any comments
this -positive or negative or any suggestions for improvement arewelcome.
If suggestions are made I would appreciate if people would consider howto
easy they might be to implement and how much work might be involved. Also
it is worthwhile considering if you support the culture created here and
consider the impact your suggestions may have on that as well.anniversary
I am looking forward to some interesting responses on our tenth
