Dearest Chris,
I hopped on this bus seven years ago. Needless to say it has been an incredible
ride! Through all kinds of weather you have kept the wheels on the CT bus going
round and round, round and round. Thank you. And to all of you who occasionally
had to help Chris push the bus, you have my gratitude.

Hi all
Thanks for all the acknowledgement of my efforts. It is a real gift. I take
it in and let it warm my heart.
Of course there are many people who deserve acknowledgement for the success
of this group so far. I clearly can't mention them all here. but I would
like to thank some of the peole who have helped me out privately in the
difficult CT moments. They include Jakob Schneider, Sheila Saunders, Annie
Wearne, Bubula Lardi and Barbara Morgan. There have been many others who
have sent messages of support publicly and privately. This has been
especially appreciated when I have been managing a difficult moderation
controversy.
One of the most difficult times was when the antagonism between ISCA and
Sciencia was at its peak. I worked hard to maintain a respectful place for
both which included insisting on respectful communication and not allowing
CT to be used for organisational purposes. Of course there will always be
someone who is seriously unhappy with the moderator in these circumstances.
Nonetheless as a group we navigated though these and other difficult
waters. It is only because of the dominant culture of inclusion and mutual
respect that this has been possible. During these times I received very
helpful advise and support that helped me know when I was on the right
track. Also people have felt free to criticise and support my moderation in
the forum over the years. I am grateful to people who have done both, even
when I haven't agreed with them.
Also there have been a number of leaders in the field like Anngwyn St Just
who have introduced many of their students to the forum. Others I am aware
of are Ed Lynch, Sheila Sunders, Francesca Mason Boring, Mark Johnson
Margarete Koenning, Maria Dolenc, Angelika Chisholm and many more. So
please don't feel offended if I have left your name out. You know who you
are :-) Of course everyone benefits from these people's efforts. And I am
sure everyone appreciates it.
I forgot that I suspended David for a little while. That was very early in
the piece as I remember. It reminds me of an Australian expression I
recently taught a Japanese person - "a good sport" David truly is a real
good sport. He didn't hold on to resentment and he remembered to keep his
eye on the ball. Moderating people with that level of maturity is a
pleasure.It makes the short term unpopularity well worth it. So his
acknowledgement is really special to me. The fact that he was on the end
of the stick and that our relationship recovered fairly quickly is
heartening.
So thank you everyone again.
And as this is an evolving forum suggestions are still and always welcome.

with your feet counts we now have 861 members from all around the globe.
Even with the advent of a number of constellation face book pages and
blogs, this group still remains strong. Nonetheless I don't expect it to
last forever. It will last as long as people find it helpful in a way
that
works better than other alternatives. When it is meant to finish it will.
Meanwhile it still seems to be quite vibrant and lively. Any comments
about
this -positive or negative or any suggestions for improvement are
welcome.
If suggestions are made I would appreciate if people would consider how
easy they might be to implement and how much work might be involved. Also
it is worthwhile considering if you support the culture created here and
to
consider the impact your suggestions may have on that as well.
I am looking forward to some interesting responses on our tenth
anniversary
