It is interesting to note that Rupert Sheldrake also believes that places have
fields of memory. This has implications for systemic constellation work, as
well. This and more about the role of The Field in SCW is covered in my

It appears that quantum physicists are finding that at the sub-atomic level
matter begins to loose its integrity as matter. As Lynne McTaggart puts it
"...'real' particles are nothing more than a little knot of energy which

practical bearing on Constellation Work per se, but it does make a point
that even science has to admit that reality is still a mystery. The
something we call existence came out of a non-local nothing--or should I say
everything--that we don't understand. It also reaffirms that reality is not
a collection of objects, but rather a inseparable web that our perception
isolates into parts.
Then there if I understand correctly there are electromagnetic energy
fields. This notion of field is physical and there is a measurable
electromagnetic field around all living things. This kind of field is
palpable if your sensitive enough to tune into it, and it is what most
people are talking about when they say "I can feel the 'energry' of
something." In constellation work it is the force that can draw two
representatives together or push them apart. The Chinese understanding of Qi
could also fit into this understanding of electromagnetic fields. It seems
as if constellation work can effect these fields by resolving systemic
tension within them.

Constellation as Hologram:*
Franchesca talked about constellation work being like a hologram. McTaggarts
book The Field talks about how a scientist named Karl Pribram found insight
into the nature of how our brain works through a new technology called
optical holography (details on page 82). His theory is that we store
information in our brain in much the same way that holograms are stored on
photographic film. As McTaggart states the "strange property of holography
is that each tiny portion of the encoded information contains the whole of
the image, so that if you chopped up your photographic plate [of a teacup]
into tiny pieces, and shone a laser beam on any one of them, you would get a
full image of the teacup." It seems to be a good metaphor for humanity and
perhaps why constellation work works. Were all pieces of the same
holographic picture.
It seems impossible to explain the functions of constellation work without
using metaphor.
I write this to see if it is an appropriate understanding of the work. If
you have experience in with constellation work please let me know if you
think my understanding is correct.

On one of the text I remember that Hellinger explained that the more
scientifically word field is used to avoid using the more spiritual and
metaphysical words soul and spirit. But the meaning of those words is of
course entirely different. The ever creating spirit is a much more open and
wider image than a field. It is not my field that makes me follow my mother
into death but the movement of my soul. Once you understand the true

of the work and the words that are used to describe the phenomena that we
observe, it is not hard anymore to speak about them as it is always present
in every moment of our lives. Like the wind is always there, whether we
observe it or name it or not. Some people are wind-experts and can tell you

Every systemic set up or constellation done with the proper intention to
bring good for everyone can show the working of the soul or the spirit, but
you cannot make people believe anything as you know. Maybe you can help
people recognise the effect with a simple thing like: imagine your parents
standing behind you, what happens in your body. Imagine that you look at
your partner and see his or her parents behind him or her. What changes for
you in your body? Of course you can carefully set up this image in
real-time
too, but be aware that the systemic movements will start to manifest
themselves sooner than you expect, and be ready to honour them if this
happens.

Hello Constellation Talk.
I'm new to constellation work and am currently attending a facilitator
training with Franchesca Mason Boring in Seattle USA. The presence of the
field greatly interests me, and I'd like to know more about it and what
people know about it, as well as other names that people who are not well
versed in new age terminology might call it. If anyone has any book
references or a deeper understanding of what inhibits and what enhances the
presence and the flow of the field I'd like to hear about it. I've heard it
connected to terms like Zero point field and morphogenic field. If you have
specifics on scientific experiments that are able to measure the field I'd
love to know about them too.
Also, Constellation Work is part of my College *Independent Learning
Contract* at the Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington. I want to
demonstrate the power of the field to my class at the end of the semester.
Does any one know any simple constellation exercises that can demonstrate
the presence of the field to the skeptic, and show how it can help a
willing
representative 'know' things that are true.
