I have never seen a constellation be stopped but I saw one that certainly
should have been. It was so clear to all of us observers that the
representatives were not in their roles for the first 20 minutes of the
constellation. They kept asking for information about the "facts" of the story
as if that would help them play their part more effectively. For some reason,
the facilitator allowed the constellation to continue without addressing the
problem. Slowly one of them did get into her role but the critical part of the
constellation had been missed (a dead child) and though it went on, no
resolution could be found nor even any "sense." I love that someone saw that
the field had no permission and honored that.
Great discourse!

I don't remember all the details because it was years ago, but I was in a
constellation where nothing seemed to work. The facilitator stopped the
constellation. I don't remember if we took a break or started right up
again, but the same client began again by stating the issue, which was the
same, and a new constellation was begun which completed successfully. Some
of the same representatives were chosen, but some were different. I do
remember the client was allergic to practically everything.
