I have also used the principles and ideas from the constellation work
without a formal piece and I have found some of the changes to be profound too.
I think your family systems training and your making clearly a 'boundary'
between the subsystems was important. It may have been more assimilable being
said to each one alone. It would have been interesting to see what may have
happened if the whole family had been together and you said it three times- how
assimilable it would be then.
I have recognized that Bert uses many concepts from family systems in
his work, and boundary making is a cornerstone of change in family systems. I
appreciate hearing about your experience.
