Hmm, not sure if the shaving adapter will do it because I don't know what
the power load is.  In theory, that should work though.  Have a number of
Seagate external drives here that work anywhere in the world.  It's just a
case of changing the adapter on the end of the plug.  However, if in doubt,
look for a European to UK plug adapter.  Not sure what the exact name for
those is however, have one here for a camera that we purchased in Greece.
Will dig it out when I get a mo and see if we can find out if there's
anything written on it.
