Phil,

I think that that's the point - you're supposed to ship 3-pin if you're
supplying into the UK.

Best wishes.

Actually, they probably are meeting the legal requirement because it sounds
like the adapter that they sell, has two prongs on the plug E.G, European
style. If so then, technically I guess they would be meeting European
requirements though not UK ones.

No reason to disbelieve them, though I thought there was some legal
requirement for electrical devices sold within the EU to be supplied with
the correct power supply for the target country.

Best wishes.

Hi folks.

I've heard back from PG Music who tell me that all I need is a straight
forward to pin to 3 pin adapter, not a transformer. One of those that you
can plug yoru electric shaver in for those in the UK.

Does this sound right? it seems too simple hahahahaha.

Cheers

Darren

Darren,

I don't know, but I may know a man who will - might be tomorrow before I can
get back to you, but I'll do my best.

Best wishes.

Subject: [ddots-l] 120 to 220 v power adapter

Hi folks.

I'm purchasing the Band in a Box Audio Everything product from PG Music.

It all ships on a 1.6 TB hard disc but comes with a 120 v power supply.

As I'm based in the UK, I need some kind of step up power transformer.

Does anyone have any recommendations. It has to be something that will stay
plugged in and operating for most of the time.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Darren
