Phil replied: it is possible to automate the first 4 bands of the 6 band track 
EQ that can be accessed in the track inspector.

  I'm assuming that you want that cliche opening and closing low-pass filter 
effect. If that's the case, then you can do that with the Sonitus EQ. I'm 
pretty sure that it isn't possible to automate the per-track versions, but, if 
you insert it in to the effects bin of the track, you can record automation 
with it, as well as control it from ACT.

  TO get the effect that you want, enable one of the bands, set the filter type 
to low-pass, and sweep the frequency.

    I know of a free plug which will do this, however, I don't think its 
automatable...  

    I can't remember its name, though I remember it being accessible via the 
inspector...

      I have a sonar 8 and ct 8, but in the equaliser I cand do this. Any ideas?
