Is your synthesizer on while you're moving around in those boxes?

Hi guys!

As you may remember, I decided to do an overhaul of my music system. I reinstalled Sonar 4, Producer edition more than once because I felt I'd made mistakes, and CakeTalking 4. I did not migrate old settings, or didn't mean to, but might have the first time the question came up. I went through the process of changing Windows XP settings successfully, and succeeded in initializing Sonar Jaws. Now, when I looked at the Midi Devices dialog, I see the name of my sound card in both input and output. When I look at the output and Uses Instruments list in the assign Instruments dialog, I see the name of my keyboard, (not the specific version, but I think the general name). But when I look at the output list in the Track Properties dialog, it only shows the sound card. I tried moving around in the Define dialog and Assign dialog, but the result is the same. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do now, or if I didn't do the right thing to select items. Can someone help me please?

Thanks in advance!

Sharon
