James, No, I use the wireless for internet/email, but I always turn that off when working in Sonar. ----- Original Message ----- From: James Malone To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2006 6:18 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Dropout's Do you have your notebook connected to a network? The tune it is happening in includes one audio track, and a midi one, nothing else. I have worked in Sonar with many audio tracks/MIDI, and have had no drop outs... I really can't figure out what's wrong, and why it just started happening... yesterday afternoon everything was working fine, since then, now I've had several crashes, and the computer seems sluggish. I've ran chk dsk, defrag, and anti-virus... not sure what else to do. Using JFW 7.0, and a 2.6GHZ HP ZD Pavilian notebook, with 1GB RAM, and an Ederal UA 25 for the MIDI/audio into Sonar. Two of the crashes have caused the serious crash message to appear in Windows after restarting, so I hope it's not that, but I was hoping someone out there could offer some thoughts on this problem... I just can't understand how everything could be working perfectly one day, and not the next... anyone else had anything like this happen?
