First tab in that part of the dialog box is the input drivers. If you tab
again then, you get to the list of output drivers.

Thanks, Bill. I went there last night (Options/audio/drivers tab) and JAWS
is reading a list in the first box. It's reading the same thing twice, but
the repeat is saying "checked". It's saying ASIO FW 1884 Analog 1" and then
it repeats that with a checkbox checked. As I arrow down it says the same
with a 3, 5, and then 7. It then goes into the ADAT and other options. I
assumed that was input drivers, but I don't understand the repeating. This
might have been a "List View" When I tabbed, I think it's a "list view
combo box" that had the exact same things in it with the repeats. Was this
the outputs? I got frustrated in not knowing what was what.
Secondly, in looking at the FW 1884 Control Panel's listing of checkboxes
for the drivers, everything was labelled and checked fine.
For those of you who have FW 1884's, could you look and tell me what is
suppose to be in the Sonar's driver's tab in the first two boxes? I
appreciate all of you for helping me out. And a special thanks to Mike for
his detailed help.

Stacy, have you checked setting under SONAR's Options | Audio to make
certain that the correct drivers for the FW 1884 are selected for use? I
myself do not have an 1884 but I believe I have heard that setting your
driver mode to WDM offers better performance.

Subject: [ddots-l] FW 1884 - no audio

Hi, guys. Any advice would be appreciated. The FW 1884 didn't respond
after loading Sonar 7, so I went to Options and checked on its input and
ouput port settings. The FW 1884 Control nor its MIDI ports were listed.
So I shut the system down, reset the MIDI and unity gain on the FW 1884, and
rebooted. I found the FW 1884 Control now as a selection and selected them.
The faders began working, but I still have no audio. When playing a song in
Sonar, the meters are stating a peak, so I know it is playing. I also
tapped the end of my monitor amp's cables to hear the sound in the spekaers,
so I know the amp is working. I don't know if this is a Sonar deal or a
Tascam FW 1884 deal. How do I determine where the signal breakdown is?
Thanks in advance.
