No, just go to "view update" in the Windows update screen, and look for the
update (3035583) in the list. Rout the JAWS cursor, which is really the mouse,
to the title for the (3035583) update that is installed and right mouse click.
Ten turn your PC curser back on and down arrow to "hide update.
Afterward, you might need to perform the removal task once again I had written
previously.

All one has to do, is as Phil said. Just stop automatic updates.
If your system is paging you to do the Windows 10 upgrade, here is how
to stop the pop-up.
1. Press Windows key plus r. This will open the DOS command line
interface.
2. Type Cmd. This will load the DOS shell.
3. At the prompt type wusa /uninstall /kb:3035583 4. Windows will page
you to confirm the removal of the Windows 10 pain in the a$$ Kb 3035583.
5. Press Y, it takes a little bit, but you will be informed that the
update
3035583 has been removed from your system.
6. Type, exit, and reboot your system.
Afterward, remember to hide the update 3035583 from the Windows update list.
Voila, no more popup. Sometimes you still need to hide the icon in
the system tray even though it has been removed.

Using Microsoft update which is part of Windows Update on my system
here and that's how I set up systems for clients also. That way,
nothing gets installed that you don't want installed but importantly,
you are aware of any available security updates.
You still want to hide that update that Steve mention previously
though :-)

To prevent Microsoft downloading and installing Windows 10 on your
computer, you need to turn off the Recommended Updates setting in
Windows Update and hide Windows 10 from the list of available
recommended updates.
In Windows 7, go to Start > Control Panel > System and Security >
Windows Update. Click the Change settings link on the left.
Look for the Recommended updates entry and make sure it's unchecked.
Click OK.
In Windows 8.1 you can either follow the same steps listed above, or
you can go through the PC Settings app. Go to Settings > Update and
recovery > Windows update and select Choose how updates get installed.
Uncheck the Recommended Updates box and click Apply.
Windows 10 will still appear as an available update, but it won't be
