Hey Phil I got everything on my external and my laptop is working perfectly
now. I think what happened was when I installed jaws 17 to try out it messed
things up. I'm glad I got it back working again with jaws 14. Thats a lot of
money for getting a hard drive recovered and I sure don't want to have to do
that.

Run triple backups here now. Had one hard drive go then, another quickly
after that. Ended up spending over £600.00 to get the data recovered. Don't
want to do that again!

Back up absolutely everything as if your life depended upon it. It probably
does more than you realize. Be prepared for the idea that that drive may die
again never to return. That will probably come sooner than later.
