This is one of those USB controller keyboards which does nothing when not attached to my machine. I simply go in to the track properties and lower the pitch 2 numbers and its fine. I quite honestly am such a rank beginner at this that I haven't got hardly any answers for questions.

However I will get there soon enough.
Thanks for writing.

What software are you using? Or does this transposition happen even when
the unit is not attached to your PC? At times, my Otgen8 controller will
transpose itself for no apparent reason. I have found that if I disconnect
and then reconnect the USB cable, the proper concert pitch returns.

Hi!
I have perfect pitch. Now, when the technician finished associating all the channels to my sound card and software synth etc he told me that I would be playing in the key of C. Alright! However what my brain is registering with
me is the key of D, and when I play the notes of the key of C, I make
mistakes because the old cerebellum is telling me play it in the key of D
because that is what I am hearing.
Why is this? I do know that the notation for brass is slightly different so
are these keyboards set to how brass notes are named?
