Gord I'm not sure what I have. I have soft synths but those aren't plugg ins right? I have all the stuff that comes with sonar, but I can't think of anything else I've picked up. Do those sonar pluggins need to be registered? I don't own anything like the wave arts, or any other compressers or choruses that don't come with sonar. Since that is the case do I still let it do that or is it not necessary. Maybe I should have some other plugg ins. Maybe you can tell me what I shou;ld try to get. I should say try to afford. http://www.gbrayton.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Gordon Kent To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, August 27, 2007 11:52 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Installation questions Greg: When cakewalk is asking you if you want to register your plug-ins, it isn't talking about registering them with the companies that make them. It is referring to the process of telling Sonar that you have these plug-ins and where they are on your system. You should let it do that. You need to have sonar on your system before you can install cake talking. It doesn't matter if you install plug-ins afterwards.
