I think I'm happy with what sonar gives me, so do I still say yes when they

Well, each version of Sonar is coming bundled with more and more plug-ins.
It is really getting to the point where you can get by with Sonar alone.
The vc64 is a wonderful multi-band compressor/channel strip. It would be
nice if the tts1 were updated with some really good sounds on a par with say
the motif, but I wouldn't fret too much about getting more stuff except for
maybe a better time compression plug if you needed that sort of thing.

right? I have all the stuff that comes with sonar, but I can't think of
anything else I've picked up. Do those sonar pluggins need to be registered?
I don't own anything like the wave arts, or any other compressers or
choruses that don't come with sonar. Since that is the case do I still let
it do that or is it not necessary. Maybe I should have some other plugg ins.

When cakewalk is asking you if you want to register your plug-ins, it isn't
talking about registering them with the companies that make them. It is
referring to the process of telling Sonar that you have these plug-ins and
where they are on your system. You should let it do that. You need to have
sonar on your system before you can install cake talking. It doesn't matter
if you install plug-ins afterwards.
