I only suggest that because whenever I forget to turn my control surface on before launching Sonar, Sonar forgets that it exists and i have to reconfigure things. I don't do much work with MIDI, so hopefully someone else can chime in with better suggestions.

over, he brought his Mac over. He disconnected one of my boards and
connected it up to his mac. It was when i reconnected the keyboards back to my system is when the system went weard. I think that I will need to do a

Hmm, strange. Did you double-check your MIDI device settings in Sonar?
Could they change if you started Sonar with your keyboard not connected?
