To use midi on a synth, as stacy said check the button for midi, then in the
fields after, select a port, channel and notes to use. You can press notes
on the keyboard to have sonar change the values on the notes fields instead
of trying to figure out what note gives what click... And I also agree, no
such thing as a stupid question.

Subject: [ddots-l] Metronone MIDI Synth?

Hello. I've enjoyed reading these post for the past few weeks. I wish I
was as smart as you guys. I am somewhat new to Sonar 7 and will probably
post many stupid questions in the next few months.
My question is: I can use the hot keys to turn the metronone to a MIDI
synth, but I hear nothing. (I've been using the WAV sound.) I assume I am
to run it through one of my soft synths but I don't know how. Can anyone
give me a brief idea on how to do this? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
S.B.
