To use midi on a synth, as stacy said check the button for midi, then in the fields after, select a port, channel and notes to use. Hello. I've enjoyed reading these post for the past few weeks. I wish I was as smart as you guys. I am somewhat new to Sonar 7 and will probably post many stupid questions in the next few months. My question is: I can use the hot keys to turn the metronone to a MIDI synth, but I hear nothing. (I've been using the WAV sound.) I assume I am to run it through one of my soft synths but I don't know how. Can anyone give me a brief idea on how to do this? I would appreciate any help.
