No, in my setup, I'll have my motif es8 on the bottom, then I'll put it in song
or pattern mode (multitimberal), select my instruments of choice, and such.
Since the oxygen let's me specify which channel to send midi data out through,
and the motif plays whatever instrument it's receiving from that channel, I can
use the oxygen to switch on the fly. So I'll have a piano on ch1 which is
controlled by the motif, and let's say for the verse of a song, I'll have the
oxygen send out data on ch2, which I've assigned to a string/pad patch on the
motif. When the chorus comes around, I can press a button, switch the oxygen to
ch3, where I've assigned an organ to the motif. This way my motif always has
the piano sound, while the oxygen can play whatever I need at the mo... I have
no organ module though, just use motif's internal sounds, or banks/libraries
that I've created myself and loaded to the motif. This setup let's me combine
it all: loops, backing tracks, multiple instruments etc. Now, only if i could
split the motif in to zones while in one of these modes, it'd be awsome!

DJ: when you said you use it for organs are you triggering an organ module with
it? If so, which one?

I suggest the oxygen61, it is easy to configure, all explained in the manual.
It uses the keys themselves to program. You just have to write down what each
key does...
It has 9 sliders, 9 assignable buttons, 8 nobs, and transport buttons. You can
save presets or use factory made ones.
Uses either USB or midi dim. You can use it with or without a computer, I use
it as a secondary keyboard with my motif, for organs and such... You can get
an external power supply and run it standalone.

Hi i'm looking for a good 49 or 61 key midi or usb controler. No sounds just a
controller, and i want a pitch bend control. It must also as accessible as
possible.
