Hi guys,

Thanks for all your ideas. Dave, I couldn't find the Properties Button nor the
'Normalize All' check box after I selected the tracks from the list. Is this
where you would find the "Normalize All" check box?
Is there a default setting for sndvol32 or am I completely on the wrong track
there?

Neville, I am actually quite happily using Nero Version 6 and I use CD Burning
Rom as I believe this is more accessible for JAWS users, not Nero Start Smart.
With the help of my Dancing Dots friends and a manual written for blind users I
am able to do what I can do which is
1. Rip a whole CD.
2. Compile a CD.
3. Add tracks from a CD onto my hard drive.
I'm sure you folks know plenty more than this, and Phil, I will have to get set
up for skipe if I want to catch up.

Cameron, it's good to know that there's another usable alternative to Nero 6 if
necessary.

Getting back to my "quiet vocals and solos" issue, I also tried a different
Audio CD to see if this could possibly make a difference, but I don't think so.
Maybe I'm going crazy, like trying to see the difference between dark blue and
dark purple which is the only analogy I can think of in this case.
you see guys, I'm such a non-tech savvy person. Would the speed of 40x6000kbs
make any difference to 32x6000? This is my progress so far.
Thanks for your responses.
Marée
