Hi, I dont use 64 bit, though for what i've been reading by our listed mates , you are having that problem because of the 64 bit upgrade . I suppose that if you have made some projects with 32 bit plugins, they will not open as 64 bit. I dont remenber how to resolve it, or if it's possible to resolve it, but maybe one of the guys willgive more info! best regards, Rui Vilarinho ----- Original Message ----- From: Henrik Leander To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, February 26, 2012 1:38 PM Subject: [ddots-l] New computer, new problems :) Hi guys. I got my new laptop. An i7 with 16gig ram and win 64bit. Sonar 8.5 is installed along with the patches and in 64bit mode. Dimention pro also in 64bit mode. The latest caketalking version. And some freeware plugins. Now I've got some new issues that I haven't had before. 1.. I can't load my old projects even if they are saved in Sonar 8.5. If I use the open dialogue I get Jaws to crash. I can't alt tab and make it play or anything. I can't restart Jaws so I have to restart the computer. If I click the filename of the project and open Sonar that way it works most of the time. (I got one crash that way when Sonar opened). When the project is open, the synths are loaded correctly and it's no problem to work with it. Anything I should try to get rid of these crashes? The old projects were made in 32-bit if that makes any difference. 2. The Cakewalk FX plugins and the studio reverb were not installed even if I checked all the Caketalk plugins in the installation. Aren't they working under 64bit? 3. I can't see any presets on some of the installed cakewalk plugins, for example the multivoice chorus. I tried to click with the jaws cursor but I couldn't reach any presets that way either. Is this some 64 bit issue? Cheers /Henrik 3. I had
