Something you should also know about Boston is that certain laws are a bit different. I discovered this from a local taxi driver, whilst meeting red lights at what seemed like every single intersection, on a race to catch a plane out of Boston back home to the U.K. I remarked that as I was in a hurry, this was Murphy's Law licking in. "Naw sur," he replied, "We don't have Murphy's Law in Boston." "Oh, what do you have then?" I asked. "We have McGillicuddy's Law.", he said in that proud Bostonian drawl. "What's that then?" "Murphy was a [expletive deleted] optimist!" I can only add that having been a visitor to Boston a few times, I have found the pace of life a little more relaxed that say New York City, but then that would not be difficult. They do have good tea parties there too... (smile) George. Hey, Boston is also the home of Cakewalk Music Software, Duxbury Systems, (well, close enough!), Berklee College of Music, Perkins School for the Blind, just to name a few. They do talk a bit funny up there but you can usually understand the natives. Hi. I'm seriously considering moving to Boston. Perhaps this is sort of on topic because I'd be looking for music and radio work etc. Does anyone on the list live there or have you spent time there? Any feedback would be nice. Job market, public transport, music scene, etc? Thanks, Cameron. PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
