Hey DJX, as far as I can tell theirs not an option for standalone mode. At
least nothing that says that. I do see the computer button, which is on the
same row with midi control, mon mix, and clock. I'm sure that I'm using the
headphone jack. What's odd is that when I play back through my speaker, I
hear audio from both speakers. I'm not monitoring in sonar however. thanks

Are you sure you are using the headphones port and not the main outs?
Also, is the FW1884 in standalone mode or computer mode. Have you split the
channels into stereo pairs by chance?
Note that if you are monitoring in sonar and have a stereo input selected
this behavior is normal.

Hello all, I'm using my mackey 1642 to feed my Tascam fw1884, I have a mic
plugged in to the Mackey, I have headphones plugged in to the back of the
Tascam, I'm only hearing audio out of the left side of the mix, when I plug
in to the mackey with phones, I'm hearing the audio out of both sides. Any
ideas? Have I provided enough information? Thanks
