Run SONAR.
ALT+O for Options
Arrow down to Audio options.
I believe you will want to press CONTROL+TAB to move to the Advaned tab or
maybe it's the Drivers tab?
Make sure that SONAR is set to use your audio interface. You want your
interfeace to be the chocoice for playback and recording.

Subject: [ddots-l] Sonar not working crisis
Hey there everybody, I have a bit of a crisis on my hands. I was doing some
recording with sonar last night like usual, and then my wife’s parents left
the house, the single second they shut the door everything in my room
shorted out and it knocked sonar off-line. This has never happened before. I
closed the program, turnd off and back on my interface, and then restarted
the computer. These things normally help sonar get back to normal, but now
it seems like sonar isn’t recognizing my interface anymore. However, if I
open up reaper, sound comes through completely normal. If anybody has any
insight on how to fix this it will be very helpful.PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER
