Hooray guys hooray. :-) When everything shorted out it must have reset my
default output. Instead of everything coming out of outputs one and two,
everything was just going out to three. Nothing was connected to three LOL.
Thank you so much everyone for your help.

Hi Mackie, have you tried turning on/off the card whilst in Sonar.
This is just a simple test but if you get a message that your hard ware is
about to be changed then there is a good chance that communication is
happening the right way.
I’m a bit concerned when you say that things all shorted out.
I have seen instances where in certain programs work fine, and then others
don’t simply because there may have a been short in the port of the audio
card.
I”m not trying to alarm or scare you, but that could be the case.
Before anything though do the following:
Launch sonar,
Go in to the options menu by pressing alt plus the letter o,
2. press the letter u to run the audio options, and as Phil is suggesting,
make sure the your playback and recording device is set to your audio card.
3. if this is not the case and you hear none: then do the following:
4. control tab in tot he advanced settings, and make sure your buffer size in
play back and recording are set to at least 128, or 256,
5. make sure you are using the ASIO mode under the driver control,
6. control tab to the driver page, and make sure in the play back, and
recording listing that both are selected to your audio card.
Tab to ok, and press enter or the space bar to save all your settings.
Please let us know how this works out.
i’m so sorry to respond late but I’m currently working on Logic pro
tutorials.
“yes,” finally got things set up in my studio, as i had to revamp my work
station, and had to do some research on several mixer audio consoles.
Best

Hey there everybody, I have a bit of a crisis on my hands. I was doing some
recording with sonar last night like usual, and then my wife’s parents left
the house, the single second they shut the door everything in my room
shorted out and it knocked sonar off-line. This has never happened before. I
closed the program, turnd off and back on my interface, and then restarted
the computer. These things normally help sonar get back to normal, but now
it seems like sonar isn’t recognizing my interface anymore. However, if I
open up reaper, sound comes through completely normal. If anybody has any
insight on how to fix this it will be very helpful.PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER
