It sounds like a thermal issue with your laptop. Is it getting really hot?

Hi, it's Annabelle
Something's happening that doesn't seem right. I go to record in Sonar, and
after a few minutes of recording, the whole machine goes to a blue screen
and shuts down then restarts itself. After restarting, it gives me the
Microsoft Windows Error. What the heck is up with that? This hasn't happened
until now, but it seems to happen around the same time twice a year, in the
summer and in the winter. What do I do next? I'm trying to invest in a
desktop, but now it's a tossup between whether I want to have the MusicXPC S
series, or the PC Audio Labs Rock Box. It seems the one at PC Audio Labs is
cheaper than the one at MusicXPC. What's up with that? Could it be that
because MusicXPC is based in Canada, everything's more expensive there?
