Thanks James, did you use sonar and wich soft synth did you use when you tried 
the drums? Session drummer 3? Dimension drums?

I had a drummer set his V drums up, but we had issues with ghost notes when he 
did a roll, or a fill. It sounded like a toy, so I just recorded the audio 
output.

It was something about his triggers when hitting the head of the drum. It's 
been a few years since I did this though. Another experience was with someone I 
knew that had a cat, but he was able to adjust the velocities within the module 
he was using.
