What's up Omar? I think G.F has the MPC 1000, if I'm not mistaken. I've done 9
different audio tutorial's about the mpc 1000. The first 5 tutorial's are about
the MPC 1000 by itself, and the other 4 tutorial's, I tell the different ways
you can connect your motif es with the mpc 1000 with midi cables. There all
located on my shop page at www.driza.info The title of the mpc tutorial's are
called Motif ES and MPC 1 through 9. There is a description of what I show in
each tutorial under the title. Just use your tab key and arrow keys to maneuver
on the shop page. Yep, Driza off of here! Peace!

Thanks GF! Does yours have an fx card? If so, were you impressed with the fx
you can use with the samples? Also, which model do you have? Lastly, which do
you prefer for using samples, the mpc or the motif?

  Thanks again.

it is a sampler only, there is no sound engine. It can load any wave sample
though. I think aiff as well... As far as instrument samples like pianos and
stuff like that. it isn't the most practical tool for that type of job. I have
owned one for about 3 years now and I use it for live gigging. background
voices and click tracks for my drummer. I also use it in the studio for hip-hop
tracks. I usually use it in stand alone mode though. I rarely connect it to the
computer or anything via midi.
HOpe that answered your questions. if not, let me know and I will try to
see what I can do about putting together a tutorial or something.

What I meant is: has anyone used the mpc to load sounds and play them

how they liked the sound engine.

What do you mean ran through it? It is a sampler. You can play any of
that stuff and record/trigger a sample of it, but you can't really play it like
a keyboard.

        Hi,

Has anyone on here used any of the akai mpc series? If so, have you ran
instruments through it like orchestral, woodwind, guitars, etc?
