Thanks Gordon. Do you know how to do this with the bcf2000? Make sure the midi in and out settings of the mackie control are set to bcf 2000. I have a softsynth loaded, and when I play on the keyboard, I am not getting any sound but when I happened to touch the faders on the control surface, I am getting the soft synth sounds coming from the faders. Has anybody had this problem before and what did you do if so to fix it? I'm thinking putting it back to factory defaults but I don't know how to do that. Does anyone know how to set the unit back to factory defaults? Thanks for any help you can give me regarding this issue, Brian
