Select the measures you want to delete with F9 and F10 then use Control X and
check remove hole.

I inserted some empty measures on some tracks in a sonar project. How do I
delete those? I tried selecting the area and hitting control delete, but that
dialogue won't open unless there is recorded material within the selected areas.
