Yes, and any sound card or audio card will have a line in jack, even the 
on-board types, so a mixer is not even necessary.

Dave,
I don't think Bardia asked specifically for a USb connected Cassette player.
But I suggested to him that solution since I know that he doesn't use any
hardware mixer and right now waiting to get a CakeTalking and Sonar
software.
But I think you're right about buying an cassette player and connect it into
a mixer.
