Just be careful about fingering. It isn't as easy for a blind teacher to catch that, as they can't watch your hands. Fingering is important to learn early. Using the right fingers makes it easier to grab for chords, or to smoothly perform runs. Before I spent time with fingering, I'd trip myself up if I tried to play too fast. Also, if you've never been drilled on it before, the next time you're playing, pay attention to how little you actually use your pinky. That's 20% of your capability gone. *smile* Anyway, doing it wrong, and trying to unlearn that is hard.
