Ok, I got them under Cake Walk Projects. Wow, I have like 29170 files. Do I have to delete all these files?

Regards,

Hi sir, how did you get the picture cache? Could you direct me how I can find it and delete all these unnecessary files?

Omar,

#1. In Sonar, check to see if pause mode is enabled. You toggle it with the pause key on your keyboard. When it is on, Sonar can play with lower latency, but it is slower to respond to controls like play and stop.

#2. Check your picture cache folder. If you've been using Sonar for a while, you may have many of these...too many. Feel free to erase every file in that folder.

Do either of these suggestions help?

Bryan

Gord,

Hypersonic, dr008, and v sampler are just a few. the latency isn't necessarily only during recording. anytime i hit a key it's not playing immedietly. i know it's not the fault of any of my audio interface settings.

        Omar:
What synths are you loading? If you are experiencing latency whe recording you may need to invoke the latency compensation function with control d while recording. Remember to take it off when you're done or your newly recorded tracks will not play in sync.

                Hello,

I notice that when i load more synths into an existing project, i start getting latency when playing. in a new project there's no latency. i'm assuming this starts happening in an existing project because of the amount of audio tracks there? Is there a way to deal with that latency?

                Thanks.
