Tom:
If you are just mixing down in sonar and then burning directly to CD, you can
make sure that you don't have any extra space by setting your now time to the
point after the end of the song (don't forget to allow for reverb tails etc.)
and then set your from mark there with f9. Then press control f10 to set the
through to the end. Select all the tracks wit ctrl enter 3 times. Now, go to
the cut dialog (ctrl x) and make sure you check delete whole and also check
everything else, markers, automation, tempo changes, etc. Press enter. This
will get rid of all the extra space in your project.
Now, that being said, I would strongly encourage you to consider getting sound
forge to do your mastering and final editing.

  Subject: [ddots-l] mixing question

I think this is a simple question but I haven't figured it out. When I mix
down a project and export it to a CD it continues well after the end of the
song. How do I set the end of the project closer to the end of the music. Is
this done after I get all the tracks in the project bounced to a mix?

  Tom, tks
