Hi, folks. Just got on here. Did I understand you to say, Phil, that you don't
have to bounce individual synth and their associated audio tracks before
exporting? Is there a reason why it is best to do so or not to do so? I can
see that bouncing tracks before exporting will add more tracks, but I always
have archived the synth/audio tracks after bouncing. If Sonar automatically
does this during exporting, then I've learned something else new that will save
me a lot of time. Thanks! SLB

No you don't need too. further more, if your not getting any drop outs then,
you don't need to freeze any softsynthes either.

I assume you ultimately bounce the softsynth tracks before exporting?

No. freezing and bouncing are different.

When you say "I don't even freeze a softsynth until I'm done, because I might
decide to change an eq or effect on a particular instrument," are you using the
term freeze synonymously with the bounce to track command?
