  Thanks Robert,

Phil just ran the manual through the kurzweil software and converted it as an
rtf file. I'm going to see if that was effective. How much does the kurzweil
software run?

  Thanks.

    Hi Omar:
Try this and see if it works for you.
If you have the Kurzweil Personal Reader software on your system, open the
manual with Adobe, then use the print command. Don't do an actual print arrow
over to the Kurzweil virtual printer and press enter, this will open up the
manual in Kurzweil and you should be able to use Kurzweil to read it. Hopes
this works for you. Robert

      Hello,

I'm trying to read a pdf manual for an older roland instrument which I
downloaded from their site. When I open the document with adobe reader,
however, all it says is "allert, empty document." If I try going to the other
pages in the manual, I get the same message. Any thoughts?
