I'm not very clued up on video, your best bet would be to ask the master Phil i
remember him talking about video in sonar a while back. As for shooting
just make sure the frame rate is the same on the camera and on sonar, 30 FPS in
the US and 25 FPS in Europe. So Phil,do you mind sharing a bit of your knowledge
on the subject?
I'm interested in synchronizing a video to one of my Sonar projects. I've never
done this before, but I assume the first step would be to download
the video from the video camera to my DAW: then import it into Sonar. I read
the lesson in CT on SMPTE, so I have a basic idea of how to go about it. I
will be working with a sighted assistant but I will only have the benefit of
her eyes because she knows absolutely nothing about Sonar. Any pointers you
can give me before shooting the video that will help make the sync process
easier? Robert.
