Needless to say, meant to say that if I can't use it by myself, i don't want it. Effects units like the vg99 work well but would think there's got to be something almost as good in software. To me, having the amp mic'ed sounds great but a bit more of hastle, not to mention keeping the family awake. not the kind of tracks you want to do at 2:00 a.m. Plus, think if there was accessible software, would make it easier to use than the vg99 which is usable enough but certainly not as easy as accessible software. thanks in advance, Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave Hillebrandt To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, March 20, 2010 9:01 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: suggestion for guitar amp simulation Being a guitar player, the most basic ones are just not cutting it for me and need something better. Lets say, if anything goes, what would be something to consider that is also accessible. If I can use it myself, its not worth it no matter how much it costs. ----- Original Message ----- From: Darren H To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, March 20, 2010 1:05 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: suggestion for guitar amp simulation I guess it depends on your budget. Have only used a couple real basic ones and know there must be better quality ones than those that come with the sonar program. Thanks in advance, Dave
