Dave, if you do go for one of the Focusrite interfaces that I have
recommended, give Tim Burgess or, myself a shout. We have a HotSpotClicker
set that Tim's put together and I debugged for the sound cards control
panel. Either of us will be happy to pass that along.

Thanks for suggestion. I actually have a vg99 and is a good unit but was
looking for software. Also have a couple mesa boogie amps and have
experimented with using microphone on them and works pretty good but looking
for something different.

If you have the cash and could stand for some hardware insteady of VSTs for
guitars, check out the Roland VG99 modelling unit.
You might get one from Ebay for around £675.
Just purchased one myself and they sound freeking stunning, easily blows
guitar rig away.

Very few of them are totally accessible...
Earlier versions of Native Instruments Guitar Rig are slightly more user
friendly, and, in my opinion, sound pretty damn good.
There are various free ones available like Free Amp, Simul Analog Suite, not
to mention bitz & pieces from Araldaz, AcmeBarGig and Le Pou.
The latter ones are real good when used along some kinda impulse reflection
plug-in, but unfortunately, the IR plug-ins along with the actual
reflections are a real bitch when it comes to latency!
Best thing is to do some research which is boring, but hey...
