      Hi Dave!
first, the rock legend is very accessible within the inspector in sonar,
and it has compressors, reverb, delay, chouris etc, so you can get a very good
amp simulation with that, if you like I can send it off list, just give me your
e-mail address, and I will send it off to you.

George, Is rock legend pretty easy to dial up the sounds you are
looking for. Have found a couple modeling plugins to have mainly presets that
sound like cheesy solid state amps and hoping to find something that sounds
somewhat realistic to a marshel or something similar to my mesa boogie while
sticking to software which has become much easier. Really have gotten spoiled
with using plugins though I do realize that at times using a mic is the best
way and best not to compromise so may have hit that wall; not sure. Will try to
find info on the rock legend amp but wanted to get your opinions first before
diving to deep. Thanks

          Hi david!
I have one really good plug which I use for both guitars and bass
sounds, it's called rock legend amp. Well free-amp is also really good, I've
been using it on some of my songs.

Hi, Can anyone suggest a real high quality plugin for some type of
overdrive or amp simulator. Have only used a couple real basic ones and know
there must be better quality ones than those that come with the sonar program.
Thanks in advance, Dave
