well, they do sort of, not completely.  If you are planning to use a lot of 
chanbnel strips etc. it certainly is a good thing.  They do introduce a bit of 
latency though.

    I do use the uad2 duo and like it a lot.  It doesn't have synths though, 
just audio plugs.  It has all kinds of stuff that you can purchasse, including 
some really great channel strips that I use on a regular basis.  They do work 
with the track inspector.

      Hello,

      Has anyone on here messed with any of universal audio's accelerator 
cards? they're suppose to improve computer usage during recording without 
taxing the cpu. smile. I think I got that right. they also come with a host of 
plugins and instruments. does anyone know how accessible they are for us?
