Not necessarily.  If you have become maxed out then, it's very unlikely that
using cards like this is going to help that much.  What about freezing
softsynthes and tracks instead?

I do use the uad2 duo and like it a lot.  It doesn't have synths though,
just audio plugs.  It has all kinds of stuff that you can purchasse,
including some really great channel strips that I use on a regular basis.
They do work with the track inspector.

Has anyone on here messed with any of universal audio's accelerator cards?
they're suppose to improve computer usage during recording without taxing
the cpu. smile. I think I got that right. they also come with a host of
plugins and instruments. does anyone know how accessible they are for us?
