I did try your suggestion, and it didn't change anything. Hopefully I'll get an answer on it at some point.

Mike,

Your situation described does not sound like  the topic under discussion,
which is in installing a decoder to Sonar.

However if you are using Switch as I think you said, and as a standalone
program, perhaps you need to explicitly enter the extension to the filename
field before processing?

Sorry my response didn't fill your need for edification, as I was addressing
another aspect of this thread.
