Hi There, I know it's recommended to use the two different sound cards. However, I currently use one sound card. When I load up Sonar, and it refreshes the control surface, the JAWS voice slows down tbecause of the change in bit rate. However, once I hit p for the properties dialogue, Jaws goes back to normal. Then, I hit escape to leave the properties diologue, and everything is as normal. I don't find any problems as of yet. If ever I need the two sound card solution again, I will use a jack that has two eith inch Male jacks flowing into my one headset. So far, however, one sound device is working, as long as I remember to hit the "p" key once I load Sonar. Hope this helps, for what it's worth, Fr. tim From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Brandon Keith Sent: December-02-10 9:47 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] using Jaws on same sound-card as Sonar? Hello, If I switched jaws' output to my external sound-card along with Sonar, would I run into any problems? Right now I'm wearing two sets of headphones and it's not very comfortable, so I'd like to just use one.
