Why not just rename the file with a brf extension?

Subject: [duxuser] A Question About .brf files

If a file has been created in a .brf format but the file has been
given an
alternative file extension to distinguish it from some other
files, e.g.
umbrella.fun instead of umbrella.brf, what steps have to be taken
to get
Duxbury to recognize the file enough so that it can be embossed?

Not being a Windows user I need to explain how this is done and I
haven't
a clue. Under DPS the batch file brfout or the DOS print command
is
enough to accomplish this without trouble. No wonder I never
switched.
Thanks for your help.
Catherine
