I would center the name of the recipe, treat the list of ingredients as a
list and the instructions as paragraphs.

Subject: [duxuser] Formating for recipes

I have a student enrolled in a Family and Consumer Science Class next
semester. They will be cooking a variety of things and I'm receiving several
recipes from the classroom teacher. Does anyone know if there a specific
format we should use when brailling the recipes?
