Hello George. I've noticed that sometimes depending on the version of Word
that is used, the duxbury importers don't seem to honor the styles. I'm
still trying to run it down. I have word 2000 version 9.0.3821. Were there
any versions of Word between word 2000 and word XP that duxbury doesn't
support? I think the person who does our bulletins purchased a new computer
with a newer version of Word. I don't think it's office XP though.
Do you think smart tags would have anything to do with it?
Any help is appreciated. I can manually fix what Duxbury doesn't import but
I'm a lazy guy and don't really want to do that since I'm spoiled with the
way Duxbury handles styles.

I'm never quite sure whether or not I should publicise there
things or not, but here goes anyway.
I'm going to be visiting Duxbury on the Thursday 1st and
Friday 2nd of May, after doing some training Stateside on
the Monday and Tuesday of that week.
As usual, my visits probably worry the proverbial out of
everyone there, and as Duxbury are close to getting the next
release ready, you can perhaps imagine that it is a fight to
make sure that as many features I've requested get added as
possible, especially those I have been campaigning for here
on the list.
So with DBT 10.5 on the horizon, if there's anything you
want to see in DBT, which has not been discussed on the
list, please yell fast and furious. You have just a few
days.
I'd love it of we could arrange a live Internet Q & A
session, but I'm still trying to get my head round that
technology. However, if you want to touch base, and invite
me for a Maine lobster, a Texas steak, or just a bottle of
good Californian Chardonnay, you know the number. (It's in
the Help Files!)
